265 yard par 4 Hole in One

August 14, 2016. Sanctuary Lake Golf Course Troy, MI. I was at the 17th Tee with my stepson Nate. The hole is a 260 yard par 4, playing around 265 on this day. It's a risk and reward hole. I occasionally try to drive the green but usually I play safe. On this day I told Nate, "I need an eagle and a birdie to break 80, so why not go for it." I told Nate I was going to aim out to the right and draw it back to the hole. I pulled out my driver, lined up and let it rip. The line was perfect and the flight was spot on, drawing back to the green toward the hole. We can see the flag from the tee box but you can't really see the green. As we got up to the green I didn't see the ball. I figured I may have hit through the green. Nate said, "I'll check the hole." Sure as heck, there was my ProV1 with three dots! I couldn't believe it. I went on to par the 18th and shot a 79. My second round ever breaking 80. What a day.
