I finally got a hole in one! Happened for me on the 15th hole of my home course, The Links at Gettsyburg. The hole was playing 167 yards that evening and I hit a 7 iron that hit about a foot behind the pin and spun back into the cup. I wasn't sure I believed what I had seen until my playing partners were yelling "It's in the hole!" and the foursome on the adjoining fairway were yelling as well. I soon realized that what I at first thought were all congratulatory shouts were mixed with as many "Drinks on Cook tonight!" It just so happened I carded my first hole in one on Men's League night! It was pretty exciting and I will never forget it nor will my wallet! I will mention I proudly play Titleist equipment and used my AP2 7 iron and a ProV1x ball. So I made sure to let the others in my group know they could perhaps have the same good fortune if the switched to better equipment. :)
