It was a great October day. We were attending a charity tournament for my neighbors daughters softball team at Ruggles Ferry golf course in Strawberry Plains TN. The shot came on the 6th hole, its a downhill 120 yard hole playing about 117. I picked my 718 AP1 48 degree wedge the the intention of flying the ball about 125 and backing it down the sloped green. I hit the shot and it started right at the flag, the ball flew it by about 15 feet and backed straight down the hill and into the hole. The best part (outside of the obvious hole in one) was that I was playing with two guys from my regular foursome as well as my next door neighbor that serve as great witnesses to the shot anytime the subject comes up.
