May 4, 2017 - golf trip with 11 other buddies; playing Harbour Town. I've been fortunate enough to play there a half-dozen or more times. I've made 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s on this hole. I've played it calm and into a gale force wind. This day, we played it down wind. The pin was back left, 153 yards to the pin. I hit a solid 8-iron and it bounced once just short of the pin and then disappeared. For those that don't know the hole, right behind the green, it slopes downhill fairly steeply to the marsh, about 15-20 feet below the surface of the green. We weren't sure it was in or if it went over. We raced to the green, my friend Jeff got there first and ran to the hole and yelled, "Holy $hit!" Needless to say, one of the best golfing moments of my life.
