1000K Hole in One
By Paul G On 29 January 2019
I was lucky enough for the second year in a row to have the opportunity to play with the same group of friends Thanksgiving weekend. Little history is that the previous year playing with the same group at The Bridges of SpringTree on the 16th hole had a hole-in-one. Again this year playing with the same group the Bridges of SpringTree has joined with a company for $2 on holes 7 and 15 that a hole-in one is worth $1000. In the Pro shop paying the lady behind the counter asked if I wanted to pay the $2 and at first I said "no". One of my friends said that last year playing with same group had a hole-in-one and decided to pay the $2. The 7th hole from the blacks was playing 185yds and hit my Titleist hybrid and usually play a slight draw. The Titleist Pro Vx was just left of the pin when it landed short on the green and due to a slight incline in the green couldn't see ball. Approaching green ball wasn't there and thought of the possibility of going long. My friends were all kidding that it was in the hole and sure enough there it was in the cup. I will definitely have to play with this group again next year. Just recently received the check for $1k.
