  1. Also, the tour soft and true feel are excellent balls for colder weather golf. Performance is excellent and the feel is like you are plying pro v1 in summer!

Play often in cold and windy conditions here in Delaware by the water. There are days when we quit after 9.

I definitely prefer hot weather, but a nice brisk walk on a cooler day works just fine. I'll play when it's about 40 as long as there's no wind. I find the short game goes out the window when my hands get cold. With a hard warmer and heat packs, I may be able to get down to about 35 degrees if everything else is decent. But, I don't like the feeling of hitting irons into the ground when it's been cold for a significant amount of time. That's no fun.
  5. I definitely prefer playing golf in hot weather than cold weather. You can’t hardly feel your hands and it’s just no fun.
  6. Being a college golfer, I qualified to play in the national championship at Penn States course. It was 43 for our prairie round with 25 mph gust and constant wind. The weather stayed the same for the next 3 days. I used my Titleist hand warmer the entire time and wore long johns. I would put a hot hands in my hand warmer in there and walking to the next whole I would put my ball in there to get a little more compression on the ball. BUT, nothing beats good ol summer golf. The sweat, the smell, nothing better

One group I play with never plays below 50. Another group plays year round. Layering up is easier today than when I was a kid. Layers are thinner and warmer, so I play in the winter, sometimes there are only a few of us on the course. Growing up I was use to playing summer sports on days at or over 100, but at 73 the 100 degree days are no fun! I still play, but drink lots of water and sports drink!
  8. I don't necessarily prefer cold over warm but like playing anytime. Usually not that many people will play when it is cold and I could have the course to myself. I will play if it above 36 degrees. I make sure to have enough layers to keep warm but not bulky enough so I can still swing. I will take a club or 2 extra due to the cold.
