Armour, Kerr and Langer Lead 7-Win Week for Titleist

With another seven combined wins for Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists across the worldwide professional tours this weekend, Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 181 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 28.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 24,285 times, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 3,572 and more than all competitors combined.

Leading the way this week, Titleist golf ball loyalist Ryan Armour (Pro V1x) captured the Sanderson Farms Championship for his first career PGA Tour title at the age of 41. His closing 4-under-par 68 contributed to his a 19-under-par 269 victory total, five strokes clear of runner-up and Titleist Brand Ambassador Chesson Hadley (Pro V1x). It marked the second consecutive top 3 finish for Hadley in his two starts this season.

Recently, both Armour and Hadley earned PGA Tour cards as a result of their strong play throughout the 2017 Web.com Tour season.

Titleist golf ball loyalists have won each of the first four events on the 2017-18 PGA TOUR season with Armour following Brendan Steele (Pro V1x - Safeway Open), Pat Perez (Pro V1 - CIMB Classic) and Justin Thomas (Pro V1x - CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges) into the Titleist Winners’ Circle.

A total of 107 players in the field of 132 trusted a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success at the Sanderson Farms Championship, more than nine times the nearest competitor with 11 and more than all competitors combined.

Titleist was also the top choice among players in hybrids (26) and iron sets (41) and Vokey Design Wedges were the overwhelming choice in the approach, sand and lob wedge (179) category.

The LPGA Tour visited Malaysia this week, where Titleist golf ball loyalist Cristie Kerr (Pro V1) holed a 35-foot birdie putt on the final hole at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia to capture the 20th victory of her career. Kerr closed with a round of even-par 71, good for a 15-under-par 269 victory total, one shot clear of fellow Titleist golf ball loyalists Danielle Kang (Pro V1x), Shanshan Feng (Pro V1x) and Jacqui Concolino (Pro V1).

Titleist was the top choice in golf balls at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, with 60 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, 10 times the nearest competitor with 6. Titleist golf ball loyalists have accumulated 22 wins this season on the LPGA Tour, more than four times the nearest competitor with 5.

Titleist golf ball loyalist Bernhard Langer (Pro V1) converted a birdie putt on the second extra hole to win the PowerShares QQQ Championship, his second straight Playoffs victory. Last week, Langer made an 18-foot eagle putt on the par-5 18th hole to win the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, the first of three events which make up the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. The top 36 advance to Phoenix for the season finale.

Langer’s win was his seventh of the season on the PGA Tour Champions, and the 36th of his career on the senior circuit.

In Japan, Titleist golf ball loyalist Tatsuya Kodai (Pro V1) posted a 13-under-par 203 total, good for a one-shot victory over three players at the rain-shortened ABC Championship. The win is Kodai's first in his rookie season on the Japan Tour.

Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 50, more than all other manufacturers combined.

It was a 1-2 Titleist finish at the K.J. Invitational, where Titleist golf ball loyalist InnChoon Hwang (Pro V1x) topped SungHoon Kang (Pro V1x) with a par on the fourth hole of a sudden death playoff. Hwang closed with a 1-under-par 71 en route to a 11-under 277 victory total. The win marks his fifth KPGA Tour title.

Eleven of the 15 players who finished among the Top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the event with 91 players in the field of 114 relying on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly eight times the nearest competitor with 11.

In Australia, Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Sim (Pro V1x) birdied the final hole for a one-shot win at the Queensland Open. Sim finished at 9-under-par, one shot clear of two players, including fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Kieran Muir (Pro V1x).

For Sim, it was his first victory in eight years and his first as a professional on Australian soil. He finished third last at last week's WA Open Championship.

Haindl signed for a 16-under-par victory total of 200. Titleist Brand Ambassadors Jean Hugo (Pro V1x) and Colin Nel (Pro V1x) tied for third place with Titleist golf ball loyalists Jaco Prinsloo (Pro V1) and Jonathan Agren (Pro V1) another shot back.

Titleist was the most trusted ball at the Sun Sibaya Challenge, with 92 players relying on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly five times the nearest competitor with 19.
