Steele, Hatton, Sandhu and Kim Combine for 4-Win Week for Titleist

The winning momentum continued this week for players trusting Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists combined for four more titles around the world.

With these latest wins, Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 170 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 27.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 22,891 times, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 3,302 and more than all competitors combined.

Headlining the action this week, it was déjà vu at the 2017-2018 season-opening Safeway Open as Titleist golf ball loyalist Brendan Steele (Pro V1x) defended his championship in Napa. Steele closed with a 3-under-par 69 under windy conditions to rally from two shots behind to start the day and capture his third career PGA Tour title, two clear of his nearest competitor. Steele topped a leaderboard that saw five of the six players who finished among the top five and ties rely upon a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success.

Titleist equipment loyalists picked up right where they left off last season, confirming Titleist's status as the #1 ball in golf with 107 players relying on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball. That is more than seven times the nearest competitor with 15, and more than all other golf balls combined.

History was made at the Old Course at St. Andrews on Sunday by two Titleist golf ball players. Tyrrell Hatton (Pro V1x ) became the first man to successfully defend the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship as he held off the charge of fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Ross Fisher (Pro V1x ), who broke the Old Course scoring record. Hatton posted a final round 6-under-par 66 en route to a 24-under victory total - three shots ahead of Fisher. In capturing his second European Tour title, Hatton became just the fourth player to successfully defend the same event for his first two wins.

Fisher, meanwhile, made 11 birdies in a stunning 61 as both men entered the history books on an unforgettable afternoon.
