  1. I was just wanting to pick fellow golfers minds on what grinds they like and what’s worked for them

I have the M grind on my SM6 and I love it. I can play a wide variety of shots from various lies with it.
  3. I really enjoy the K and D grinds...they both are great for a digger of wedges like myself.

I like the M grind. It is a very versatile grind.

I prefer the S grind for my primary chipping wedge. I also like my 58 K grind out of the sand. The K’s are so easy to hit. I know a lot of people like the M grinds, but I had a real problem hitting full shots solid...was thin almost every time. Most likely my swing type, but consistently could pull off the same shot with my S grind. Titleist fitting days are great for tinker time.

Always enjoyed the S. Still roll with it on my 54. But the D on my 60 is impressing me greatly.

I have an F, M, S, and K SM6 wedges. That's why I'm going to the Titleist Vokey event to get the right wedges with/without an AP3 48.
  9. I have 3 SM7 Vokeys with 3 different grinds and bounces for different shots. A 48 F.10 Slate Blue for straight up shots in the 90-110 yard range. A 54 M.08 Jet Black for firm fairway/sand shots and the ability to open the face. And a 60 D.12 Jet Black for thicker fairway/rough and soft sand with the ability to open up. I love the versatility. It's funny how I will go several rounds only using the 60 based on conditions or where my shot ends up, and the next thing you know I'm exclusively playing the 54. I think you are best served by giving yourself different bounces for different shots. These are my first set of Vokeys and I am absolutely in love with them. They all work great for me and I love them!!!!

K has been my go to. But you have to identify if you sweep shallow or come in steep on your wedges rather than take the popular vote for grinds, otherwise you just bought a club that counteracts your swing.
  11. I play sm6 48* and 54* f grind and sm7 60* k grind. All are in the tour chrome finish. I love Vokey wedges and the control I get with them. Best wedges I've used.

Have S on my sand wedge which is a good standard grind for most golfers. Have the F grind on my other vokey's. My fitter assisted in this decision. Heading to the Vokey fitting on Wednesday, also, for a 58*. Based on previous information probably will go with a D grind, see what the guru and his team says.

I have a 58 K grind that I love out of the sand. I just recently got a 60 L grind (4 degree bounce) that I have been practicing with this year. It takes some nerve to swing that hard on a tight lie but I've been loving the results.

D grind for sure. provides alot of versatility for all kinds of shots
  15. T grind. I have a 62° bent to 64°, best club in the bag. Really good for opening the face and on tight lies. I most play links golf.
  16. Its the bounce that makes a good wedge. Not too concerned with the grind.
Have a nice round today !

For me it depends on the wedge, bounce and what type of shots I hit with each.
  18. Vokey SM7's as follows
    50* F Grind 08 bounce
    56* M Grind 08 bounce
    62* M Grind 08 bounce

These seem to suit me best, though I have to say the Brushed Steel version is the best I've had - much easier to align, especially when you open the face.

Was fitted on Thursday by Jeremy from Vokey and Mr Vokey and ended up with a 58.12 D grind. 2* flat and + 1/2 inch which matches my current set. I had been playing an XP105 S300 shafts. The experts did change the shaft of my 58 to a lighter tip and put a NIPPON NS PRO 950 R200 in the wedge shifting more of the weight to the head. They spent a lot of time with me in the sand, where I plan on using this club. I did hit some off some tight lies around the green and they were dead center on the face of the club, which was pleasing for me as well as the Vokey team. Thanks guys. Just what the Dr. ordered.

Full grind on 46/48 and 50. M grind on all else. SM4 54-11M and 60-10M from 2013-2014. There were some unusually heavy rains early 2015 and the bunkers became almost concrete and replaced the 60-10M with 58-06L and 64-07T.

The best 62* is the SM c-c 62-07. Kind of like a low bounce K.

    SM6 46-08 (bent to 44) as 9 iron. SM6 50-08, SM7 56-08M and 62-08M.
