  1. Happy New Year Team Titleist!

I hope you've all had a great Christmas. Now 2022 is here, has anyone set themselves some golfing goals for the year ahead?

Mine is to practice more away from the course and to stop trying to improve my game whilst playing!

Let TT know what yours are.

    Hit more greens in reg
    Handicap to 1
    Win a club major trophy
    Make cut in county championship
  3. Happy new year!

I only started golf properly around 8 months ago (before that it was a few par 3 courses and the driving range for fun!). But as I've started getting stuck into improving my game, I would like to at least break 100 before the end of 2022. It should be an easy task but I know that I need to work on my swing and driving technique.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and new year!

Become a better and more reliable putter.

Improve my handicap index to 7.0

    Win a club board competition
  6. Currently playing off 7, aim is to get to 5 or below. Full setup now complete with CB irons, Vokey wedges, U710 3&e long irons and new tsi 3 wood.

Have a fantastic 2022 TT and hope to see you all on the fairways. Most of the time LOL
  7. Get over various injuries which hampered any progress in 2021. If I can do that I want my handicap to get to +3 from +1.3, and compete in some county level events. Not sure how I’m going to achieve that though. Got a good coach lined up though which is a good start as long as I can get fit enough to play and practice regularly.

Practice more on 100 - 150 yard approach shots, upgrade my hybrids, try to stay under 10 handicap during the winter. Try to lose weight and get fitter.

    Happy New Year Team Titleist!!

My goal for 2022 is to hit a level par round.

Been close a few times last year but this year is the one!

Oh and I fancy a hole in one not wanting to be greedy!

Wishing all Team Titleist members a Happy New Year

  11. My goal is to get back to single figures... but at the moment the goal is to finish the round with the same ball that I started with!.... Have a great 2022 everyone!
  12. To get some form of short game, currently letting me down and stopping me achieving my goal of 10. Currently at 13, like lost 95% in 2 then more often than not last few yards in 3 or occasionally 4 which is very frustrating.

First stop new set of clubs throughout the bad then a weeks golf school in Spain late Jan

Main goal this year is to learn how to deliberately draw the ball. The baby fade is a great scoring shot but sometimes has limitations, so looking to broaden my swing horizons.

PS. TT many thanks for the mug, much appreciated

Lower handicap and make the senior county team play better on my own course improve gross scores in senior competitions.
  15. Play at more courses to get abit more variety and the challenge of not knowing holes.

Also would like to improve abit more on short irons into the green as this area is letting me down abit here and there.

    Happy new year!
  16. Hi Team Titleist

All the best for the new year.

My aim is to try and qualify for The Open Championship 2022.

Best of luck to everyone with their goals for 2022
  17. Focus on the wedge game to bring me down from 7hc to 5hc.

Just not spending enough time practicing the clean strike and distance control.

But mainly finding more time to strut the Titelist swag that I'm hoping to receive this year.......so jealous of everyone's cup/tags etc..
  18. Got my handicap down from 17.0 to 14.3 in 2020 and bought new T200 irons.
Goal for 2022 is to get down to 9.4 or less - I did get down to 9.6 15 years ago.

    Hey TT,

    All the best for 2022.

I want to play more away games this year and play more links golf.

Practice to be a better putter.

My plan albeit materials are hard to get hold of, is to build a bar and simulator room in the garden by 2023.

  20. My goal is to continue to reduce handicap & play more courses plenty local to home Carnoustie & St Andrews being 2 of them
  21. Hi Team Titleist,

Maintain handicap of +4 or improve, play number of national tournaments, including British Amateur.

Over the next 3 months work on fitness, strength and slight increase in ball speed.

    Also get refitted for clubs.

Good luck to all this golfing year.
  22. My goal is to get my handicap down to single figures.
I am currently off 14 but I was away firing the game for 15 years with a fractured spine and only got back into it a year ago.
Handicap was 23 after 1 month and afte TV year down to 14.
Being from Scotland I have an array of nice courses to play but the best by far I’ve played is Gullane no1 just breathtaking.
