Yep, just barely over a month away and we will be part of the inaugural Team Titleist International at Casa de Campo, DR. Teeth Of The Dog was on my bucket list so getting to mark it off in style, with fellow TT members. While the flights to and from will be long, I'm sure our time at the resort will be over way too quickly. Sounds like the guest short game instructor will be excellent so I'll have to go easy on the "all inclusive" drinks and stay alert. If you were not able to get in to this event, stay connected and watch for future events, even the local golf outings for a chance to gather up with fellow TT members. You will create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

I sure wish I could have made it work for my schedule. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos which I know you will share. Safe travels to all the attendees and for those who will be at the TT event at Bandon later this year, I'll see you there.

I'm guessing this was rescheduled to this year? Anyone going? I'm highly considering it.

It moved to March 2021. If you go to the link called “Events” you can see details and I believe there are still a few opening due to the rescheduled dates.
  5. Yes, the event is currently scheduled for March 10-13, 2021.

It was rescheduled for March 10-12, 2021. It sounds like a majority are still planning on attending. There was a wait list, so it may or may not get re-posted to fill any outstanding slots.

Yes, I saw the dates and have looked into going. Its seems very reasonable for an all inclusive experience. Is anyone on here planning on attending?

Yes. I was booked for the original one that got postponed and just had them move my reservation to the new time slot. I also just booked my flights while the airline ticket costs are still low due to limited travel. I was afraid if I waited on the flights and travel restrictions to improve, the ticket prices would skyrocket. Teeth Of The Dog was on my bucket list so this will be another bonus to being there next March.

Dale what airport are you flying into? I’m flying from Orlando and can’t seem to find a direct flight, which seems odd given our large DR population here.

I am connecting through Miami and land in Santo Domingo (SAN - MIA - SDQ). The TTI info says that they will provide a shuttle from any of the three main airports, Santo Domingo (SDQ), La Romana (LRM), or Punta Cana (PUJ).

Im going to go ahead and book for me as well. Do they have lots of non-golf activities for the spouse?

Alright, well I am booked, can't wait to meet everyone for a great few days of Golf!

Reminds me of the last movie line from Knight and Day. Tom Cruise: “What day is it June?” Cameron Diaz: “It’s someday Roy, it’s someday”.

Just a reminder folks, the "Events" page is back up and running on the TT link and you can again register for the rescheduled inaugural Team Titleist Invitational at Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic. Now that travel restrictions are easing up, you might want to consider locking in a spot. With the "all inclusive" nature of the resort and the reputation of Teeth Of The Dog, this should be an excellent event. Don't miss out on your spot. Hope to see you there.

For the life of me I cannot find this link. Anyone share?

So mystery (partially solved). I generally log into the .ca version of the site (which seems to mirror the primary .com address) BUT - for some inexplicable reason the events tab is only available on the .com site and not the .ca site. In any case - I have found the link but thought I would share for any other Canadians looking for the Events area.

Glad you broke the code Jason. After all, it is an "International" event designed to get people involved from all countries. Hope to see you there.
  19. Dale you sound hilarious. I'm in Huntington Beach and I want to get involved with some local groups. Does TT have anything going on in SoCal?

Yep Josh, every spring (usually in March) we do a local Team Titleist golf day in the San Diego area. You can find past posts from those events in this "travel" section. We usually have 20-30 players and being close to Titleist west-coast offices, have had several of the Titleist employees join in on our outing. We also get a few travelers fly down for that weekend. We will start posting for the March 2022 outing sometime in January. Come on down!

Hey Josh, I'm in Irvine. When space permits, I try to put something together at Oak Creek. The course has been so busy lately that they aren't doing too many events these days. Hopefully we will put something togther for 2022.

Dusting off this old thread to remind everyone that the Team Titleist International is just two months from now. The link on the "events" tab still shows open registration so you might still be able to get one of the few remaining spots. A dramatic downturn on COVID cases is predicted in the next few weeks so this should be a great opportunity to get out just as things ease up a bit. Should be an excellent outing. Hope to see you there.

Looks like third time is going to the charm(ing). Being early in March, will be some of the best playing conditions anywhere in the northern hemisphere.

The resort looks amazing. My only concerns are can I get enough SPF 70 for my winter white and get ready enough hitting in simulators to be on actual green turf. But after 3 months of a white ground cover, it will be great.

Doing a 10-day Southern Caribbean cruise in February so I should be able to get a little sun base-layer for the golf trip, that is, unless we get another virus spike and they cancel the cruise. Full swings this past weekend so physically I should be ready. See you in a few weeks!

I am surprised the link under "events" doesn't show this one as "sold out". Such a neat opportunity to expand on the Team Titleist Invitational concept and take it to different locations outside of the continental USA each year. I hope these last few spots fill up soon and we keep the International as a featured outing for years to come.

Hmm. Titleist usually includes some balls with the welcome package at these events I’d love to try the new AVX on course while there in place of my usual request for the X. The X provides better control around the greens than the 1st generation AVX, but never beat it for distance on mid to long irons.
Expecting the SM9’s will be demoed there, hopefully can do the same for the AVX. (hint, hint. )
