  1. I am heading to TPI first week in November. Looking for a good course to play one afternoon. Thanks all!

You will find a couple of previous posts on recommended golf courses in North County of San Diego. There are tons of great options. Everything from the best high-end (Aviara, La Costa, Torrey) to the bargain courses (Goat Hill Park, Eagle Crest). I like Arrowood or Crossings at Carlsbad as being close to TPI, well maintained, and good layouts.
  3. Both tracks look good if you had to pick one what’s your choice? Probably only going to get to play Thursday afternoon.

    Thanks

Crossing is more scenic but might be harder to get on. Hopefully since today is Thursday you have it set. Have fun!

Have you posted about your write-up yet at TPI?
    If so where?
    Inquiring minds want to know!
  9. Albeit slightly past your tip.....There are two courses in the region (depends if you wish to drive nearby or in the region) that are worth considering. The first is at Pechanga Resort in Temecula called Journey. The 18 hole layout is gorgeous up and down the mountains plus the course is always in top shape, green fee is around $80. The second is Barona Casino more NE of San Diego. Great layout and fun layout for a day of golfing.

Of course, if you want something near Oceanside / TPI then you can always do Torrey Pines, The Grand Del Mar, and a number of other great courses in the nearby area.

Glad to hear you had fun ... so how did you feel about your fitting...I was there the same week on Wednesday morning. I even bumped into Bob Vokey..!

I have done this a number of times and feel this is one of the best places in the world to be fit professionally!

Very cool to be fit at TPI. On my bucket list or sneaking into Chris92009's luggage whichever comes first! Ha Nice pic Chris.
