  1. Just got my custom fitted T300s. Wow! What a difference from my old titleist off the rack set (Titleist 804). Yes I know, I’m way behind in technology. They feel great. Look even better. I’m a high handicapper so any improvement in my game is welcome. These clubs will no doubt help my score. So far just hit a range bucket but a huge improvement. Distance, accuracy, and consistency were substantially better. I’m sorry I waited much too long to upgrade but happy I finally did. If a hack artist such as myself can get such a big boost out of new sticks I’m certain that you guys that can actually play this game will do even better. Of course, I’m sure you didn’t wait until your irons were ready for the museum before upgrading.

Congrats on the new clubs Christopher! I’m hoping my T200 and TS2 hybrids are here for my round on Friday.
  3. Congrats! Hope you have lots of great rounds!
  4. Can I asked when you ordered yours? I ordered some through my Base Pro shop (overseas military) and hes not sure if they will ship before the release date on the 30th.
  5. I ordered mine first week of August through my local Titleist fitting pro. I believe they shipped in just over a week.
  6. Thanks for your service.

On both the T300 and T200 irons you only have Max Impact on the 4 - 7 iron. The thought is that most golfers do not need as much assistance with launch, ball speed, etc. on the 8 - W so Max Impact would have no benefit in those clubs.
  12. Yes. That’s how they come

Went for fitting today. Checked out the T200 and T300. Hit a number of shafts and settled on the T300 with TRUE TEMPER AMT RED R300, eight clubs (5-W53). Weight: 95g, 95g, 107g. Heavier weighted starting at the 5 iron and lighter thru the wedges. Went for a wedge fitting also and fitter recommended staying with the gap wedge that matches the set, because I went with regular shafts versus stiff shafts that I have played with in the past. On the trackman, I was hitting my old 716 AP3 145 yards give or take a yard or two. Not a lot of yards for you young fellers, but for us older gentlemen that are 73 that is a happy place to be. That new T300 is getting me in the range of 148 to 160 at the 150 flag, with less effort. 73 mph, 3000+ spin and good smash factor according to the fitter. I forgot all the numbers. Not really into that game. Worried more about where it lands at my intended target, the feel and the accuracy getting there. Am pleased and I guess at some point I have to understand that the age factor plays an important part in this crazy game. I asked my fitter for more distance and he gave it to me and the accuracy was very acceptable. Cannot wait to get them and go thru the transition period. Adjustment to the new yardages with each of the clubs. Hope to have them by the end of the labor day week. That should give me time to get ready for my first tournament in October. As we say here in the South, pleased as punch. Score one for Titleist and Bill Forbes. Cheers, ya'll......

    Chuck,
I believe the shaft weight is heavier in the short irons, not the long irons.
  15. I was told the shaft weights are are designed to be the same throughout the set regardless of length. So the 9 shaft should weight the same as the 5. I have the NS pro 880 amc.

    From True Temper
AMT Red is the lightest weight and highest trajectory/spin option in the AMT range. Out of the AMT range, AMT Red maximizes speed and launch most by utilizing a responsive tip design and maintaining a constant superlight weighting in 4-7 irons. Focusing more on precision and control from 8-iron through wedge, AMT Red is designed with Ascending Mass Technology—making each shaft progressively heavier by 3-gram increments as golfers move to shorter irons. This unique blend of superlight weighting in 4-7 irons and AMT weighting in the scoring clubs allows AMT Red to offer both power and precision.

I think if you research the NS Pro 880 AMC shafts you will find they are weighted the same way (lighter shafts in long & mid irons and heavier in short (scoring) irons

  19. Just got my custom 620 CB Irons...ordered 9/4/2019, delivered 9/17/2019... looking good, fitting great. Will be in play on Saturday!
  20. Is there anyway I can get nippon zelos 8 shafts from titleist when I order or is there something similar in specs. I prefer steel shafts I just would like them to be a little lighter in weight.

Have about 5 rounds with the T300 Irons , AMT Black shaft .... wow !!!!!! very platable shaping the ball.

didn't think I could shape the ball , but no problem. Have had 712's-718 AP1's but nothing like this !! Very

forgiving with the best dispersion ever !! All I can say is " what a great set of Irons " !!!
  22. I'm thinking of replacing my AP1 712s with T300. Comparing the offset, the new irons have lees offset in the 4,5 & 6, same in the 7&8 and then again less in the 9, P and W. Do you notice the longer irons hanging to the right more? I have Dynamic Gold S300 in the AP1s. Planning to go with AMT Black to get more height and spin.

    Sorry about spelling error !!! " playable " !!!!
  24. Good to hear about the T300’s. Playing the same set of DCI 981’s since 98’! I think I would benefit from 20 years of technology. Can’t wait to get fitted!
