Had a very enjoyable fitting at Wexford GC with Matt McKnight this afternoon.

Original idea was to replace my 818H1 with a TSR hybrid to compliment my driver and fairway. Gotta say the TSR2 18* with HZRDUS 80g shaft was a joy to hit. Easy to launch and sounding great. Definitely going in the bag

My irons are only 5 years old and in immaculate condition (AP3s) but decided to try the T200s while I had the opportunity...... 2 or 3 mph ballspeed gain and a little bit more spin which I needed resulting in higher flight and better dispersion and a gorgeous feel off these irons mean I now want new irons again :)

  2. haha a fitting can do that to you... i had my driver and 3 wood done so am going back to get my hybrid done and will be looking at wedges i think.. but that could be dangerous

It’s funny how you go for a fitting thinking you need a certain club change only to be blown away by something else because the performance gains are just so good.
I think this happens all the time
  4. Need some help , have my TSR 2 driver which I love but unfortunately need to be tweaked again by pro, anyone know if there's Titleist fitting coming to Kerry in near future please? also would like to get fitted for hybrid , won't try new irons though as too tempting :)

Well lads.......Sure deep down I KNEW it would happen I suppose :) ....... Took delivery of my new TS200 last week 4 -PW........ Have only played 4 rounds with them so far but have to say I am absolutely LOVING them
  6. Declan,
Did you change your shafts? - I found an improvement in window by changing to graphite.
Higher ball flight achieved which I felt improved my stopping power.
I'm now fiddling with ProV1 and ProV1x to see which is best suited to my new window.
As I've still got a couple of dozen x's, it will probably turn out to be the ProV1!!

Had a fitting for T350 irons which was excellent.
Such a shame that the plastic backplate fell off the 8-iron after just 3 rounds of golf.
Not what I expected from such an expensive premium brand.
No response from my email to Titleist UK and my previous postings have not been posted on message board.

These irons are fantastic but this problem definitely damages confidence in the brand.
  8. Unfortunately the same happened to my 5 iron and 48 degree wedge.
The retailer, a Titleist Premier fitting centre returned them to Titleist for new heads to be fitted. This resulted in them being away for a total of 6 weeks. Not what I expected from Titleist as the premium brand it claims to be.

Not what I expected from a premium brand golf club manufacturers. Now lack confidence in the clubs, continually checking after each shot.

I also have AP3's and was going to try the T200's or something similar.

Wife does not know what to buy me for Christmas so I suggest new set of irons.

I have also told the kid's that I need a new set of wedges too.

Hoping to book at fitting at St Ives early January.
