    Northampton,

What a fantastic day at Woodhall.
We were spoilt rotten with a lovely goody bag on arrival as well as coffee on arrival, lunch and dinner.
We spent the morning in 4 groups rotating through some brilliant sessions.
The golf ball education was very informative. We received some brilliant advice and an excellent demonstration illustrated the difference between all of the Titleist balls. We were able to see the differences in spin rate, height and descent angle between the different balls and learnt that the wedges and shorter irons provide the best gains for having the right ball. I have never had a golf ball fitting but intend to have one in the near future. I was surprised to learn that the most popular ball for women on the LPGA & LET tours was the ProV1X! We also had the opportunity to hit some 50 and 100 yard shots with a variety of Titleist balls.
We also had the chance to hit shots with each of the new T series irons. We received some excellent advice on these irons and all of my group are intending to attend a fitting in the near future. I preferred the T150 and T200 so it will be interesting to see how my fitting goes.
Our final session was a short game clinic with Sophie Walker. I wish she lived closer as her teaching was brilliant and I would have liked the session to have lasted longer!
Footjoy were also in attendance to do shoe fitting although sadly being out in the first group meant that we didn’t have chance to see the range of shoes.
After lunch we played the Bracken course. Sophie played the first couple of holes with us and then did the same with each group in rotation. The course was tough and the weather very warm but we all really enjoyed it.
We finished with a presentation. Sadly I was not in the prizes but I did have a couple of birdies which was nice
Thank-you to Will in particular and to everyone who made the day such a success. I am sure that those of you attending the day at Frilford Heath will have an equally enjoyable experience.
    Very well done Team Titleist!
