I played in 2 Day tournament this weekend and I would bet that I signed up at least 4 people to Team Titleist. The reason was the displaying of my ambassador tag. Make sure you don’t just keep the tags you are given in the house. Put them on your bag!!

I have the TT bag tag but not the Ambassador one. It still draws attention and questions. I have given several away too... only room for one on the bag.

Still working on acquiring that Ambassador status!

Ron, you do not need a bag tag to know that you are a great ambassador for Team Titleist. You are positive, active and attend events.

How does one get a TT bag tag?

The bag tags are usually obtained by attending a Team Titleist event. Even the local ones have a bit of swag so I encourage you to attend one soon!

Who knows you might even enjoy the golf and the folks you meet! :)

Gucho, welcome to the Team Titleist family. A question we must have answered many times over. Make positive posts on the TT site, be a active participant and attend events (the events are listed above under EVENTS). At the events you get to play championship caliber courses and meet fellow members and staffers from Titleist and surprise guests. Keep your profile 100% up-to-date. All this indicates that you are interested in becoming a part of the TT community, not just getting freebees. Just sayin'. HAKUNA MATATA. =)

That is what I am afraid of with mine.

Sad that we have to worry about that. I have mine attached with a hefty zip tie, so I think that helps a little.

Great to hear you got some people going in the right direction. Lol

I keep 1 on the bag and the other one at home. I do switch them out from time to time. My Vokey (metal tag) I have displayed at home. I have had tags disappear from my bag in the past & don't want to lose my Vokey Tag. Just need an ambassador tag for the set.

The TT Bag tags draw a lot of attention, whether it's the bronze Ambassador tag, the rubber putting disc style or the OG white plastics ones. Unfortunately I hear too many stories of them being stolen. Easy solution, next time you need a new bag order it with the logo embroidered on the ball pocket. I am seeing more and more like this when I go to the course.

I was at the driving range and from the cart to the range was about 50 yds and my putter and bag tag disappeared. I asked the hotel if they have cameras to see if they spot who took it ? They don’t have cameras towards the range. Trump Doral

Met a member of the TT family at the range yesterday morning when I was warming up, unknowingly. He and his buddy had come over from Mt Pleasant where we live due to their course being closed for an event. Saw his equipment and of course, all Titleist and one thing led to another and had to ask if he was a TT member and the conversation began about Titleist. Asked him if he had a bag tag and he said no. Showed him mine, not the Ambassador tag, but the regular and took mine off my bag, gave it to him and he immediately put it on his bag. Another happy TT member with a bag tag. You just never know when one might pop up. Hakuna matata.

Did something very similar Saturday. There was a college kid from Oregon State's golf team hitting range balls at our course. He was in town for the Pac10 tournament. He was "all Titleist" so I told him about the group and where to find us on the website and handed him a bag tag and divot tool. Maybe some day he will be a PGA Tour Titleist player.

I guess we all think alike ...I played a tournament last year and one of the players in my group was full Titleist and no TT bag tag. Fortunately, we had time to chat on the tee boxes (it was a long day of golf) and talked about Team Titleist. I gladly offered my TT bag tag...I'll see him again in a couple of weeks; I hope the bag tag is still there.

@Dale...like you, I'm still stuck on the Pac10, just sounds better than Pac12

Dale/Chuck, thanks for the idea. I've given away ball markers as I usually have 2-3 with me. I'll need to start carrying some other swag like a tag or two as well. I've always been leery of giving them away through social media to keep them from going directly to eBay for a Benjamin.
  28. I had my Team Titleist bag tag hanging in my office. Looks much better on my bag with a couple of zip ties just as a precaution.
