What an awesome insight into the Inception-Design-Fabrication process. It never ceases to surprise me how Titleist sticks to the 2-year product release cycle with game-changing equipment. Unfortunately, my day job can't keep up but this is what makes the experience so fulfilling when I do upgrade.

Huh…. Steph used to play the -2 drive using the hammer analogy. My ball speed is close. I know fitting is key, but I was never able to gain ball speed with a -1 vs. -2. Does she increase the swing weight from stock with the -1? With the next release I’ll need to try both drivers -1 and -2 to get the best result.

I did add the -1 hybrids and fairways after Scottsdale. One partner had the -1 hybrids (in LH no less). Borrowed it for one shot and I was sold. I have a 23 hybrid and already have a session scheduled to see about adding the 26 degree. Glad that Titleist now caters to all serious golfers at any ball speed.

Talk about how the OEM's put weights in their heads? That changes the compelxion of the club and swing weight.
I'm both a teaching pro and clubmaker. Most people don't understand the swing weight of the club like D1 or D2?

I have a Titleist TRS1 (26) hybrid and a TRS1 (20) hybrid. The TRS1 (26) hybrid makes a "png" sound when hitting the ball but the TRS1 (20) does not make a png sound but a normal sound like my TRS1 (18) fairway wood. Is there something wrong with the TRS1 (26) hybrid?

Just wondering though whether instead of prioritising the design and validation process from a top amateur and tour pro perspective, a different approach angle and starting position from an average golfer or club golfer perspective might deliver improved products for the masses?

Can’t wait to see what the new metalwood product line brings us in 2024.
