Has anyone seen excess wear with the Players Glove and Z-Grips? Ive been getting a hole around my palm now in as few as 3 rounds.

I suppose when you get down to the nitty gritty, a new grip will add a slight bit of extra wear to your glove, but most of the time that hole in the palm area is due to grip pressure or the club slipping around in your grip during the swing. I know they're basically the same company, but I seem to get a little more life with the Foot Joy Stasof.

Not sure why it is a new problem with new grips, but wear in the fat portion of the palm for me is an improper grip that needs to be adjusted.

I’m with Don on this one. If these are all rubber and not the cord Z grips, they should not be creating any additional friction than any other all rubber grip. Either the size is too big for you or your glove hand is gripping the club too much in the palm and not the fingers. The only place you should see friction wear is in the last two fingers and the lower base of the hand.

It sounds like it might be an issue with how the club is being gripped. There will be some wear at the base of the hand but not in the palm. Check glove size and how you're gripping the club.

I did move to a 3wrap a few months ago from 1 which seemed to fit me a little better, however, I didnt see holes form as quickly as they have recently. I will try to soften up the tension for now.
